Ares Mecanet offers a new free version of the classic Ares P2P link sharing program, optimized to connect and download as fast as possible, and which can download all types of files. Designed almost exclusively with a view to being able to download files faster, thanks to the use of multiple sources, Ares Mecanet maintains a user interface that's very similar to the well-known Ares, making it very easy to use from the start. And it's also translated into several languages which is even better.

But besides that convenience of use, Ares Mecanet is outstanding when downloading large files. Once you specify the filw you wish to download, it automatically locates all possible sources for that file, and simultaneously downloads a different part of it from each one, which significantly accelerates the download of any file. Then what can you do with all those pieces? Well, when they have all been downloaded, Ares-MecaNet takes this puzzle and joins all the pieces together, recomposing the downloaded file with all its parts, and offering it to you ready to use. But that's not all, because you can preview a video file and listen to an audio file while it is still downloading. You can also pause and restart downloads at any time.
